A Change in Spirit
May 20, 2018 05:17 AM PDT
When change is needed it can be obvious or it can be quite subtle. We may have an old pair of shoes that have been around for a very long time. Do they need to be changed? At the same time, we know when a baby needs to be changed. When will you be willing to accept the higher life design for yourself that is available once you surrender and accept God's change for your life?
1 Corinthians 15:50-57To Know Joy
May 06, 2018 05:00 AM PDT
We measure so much of our lives by external elements and that can be at the expense of accessing and taking inventory of those things we have within. We may spend a lot of time seeking happiness when in reality what we want is something we already possess - Joy. What is it like to live in your love?
John 15:9-17 and Psalm 30:1-5Are You Ready to be Pruned?
April 29, 2018 05:00 AM PDT
We hold on to old habits with a very strong grip. We live our lives by the guidance of superstition. We often supplant our faith out of convenience. When all is said and done, what is left?
In gardening, pruning is one of the most important acts. It is the process of removing unproductive parts of the plant that sap energy and nutrients. When we allow ourselves to be pruned or speaking more directly, allow those unproductive aspects of our lives to be discarded, we can be become more powerful and productive.
Are you ready to be pruned?
John 15:1-8Loving in Truth and in Action
April 22, 2018 05:00 AM PDT
How often do we hear or offer the words I Love You?
How often are they just shallow declarations without action behind them?
Consider that there is an opportunity to expand your experience of love for yourself and the world simply by making love an action rather than simply a tossed about phrase.
1 John 3:16-24Open Your Mind
April 15, 2018 04:50 AM PDT
How often do we find ourselves 'knowing' how things will turn out? We kid ourselves with thinking that we have it all figured out when that is not the case. That knowing doesn't allow for the contribution of others.
The miraculous becomes available when we choose to open our minds to the contribution of spirit.

Crabs in a barrel are on each others backs trying to get ahead. Why is that the paradigm for how we live? If there were greater collaboration what would be the result? We deserve that higher level thinking.
Acts 4:32-35Your Resurrection
April 01, 2018 04:45 AM PDT
It is Easter Sunday. You have broken your fast. You are now free to return to the use of whatever you may have sacrificed. But what are you reintroducing into your life: chocolate, wine, or some other desired thing? What was your sacrifice that is now to be restored?

This is a rebroadcast of a message from 2010.Courage in the Face of Adversity
March 25, 2018 05:00 AM PDT
Rarely do we look forward to situations of confrontation. Whether fear or trepidation show up in those instances it doesn't matter. The nature of confrontation is that we may not want to go there. In the end when we have no choice, where is the courage?
Jesus had to call upon some type of courage in order to go into Jerusalem. Even though his disciples tried to talk him out of it, he boldly went forward knowing that he was to meet the ultimate challenge. Was it courage or was it faith? Call it what you will and just know that we possess that same power within.

We all have down moments. Those times when we may be feeling blue. It passes in time, but how can we be intentional about restoring our joy. Some believe that joy is our natural state. Let's explore what it may take to return to our natural state. What must be done to restore our joy?
Psalm 51:1-12Service to Others
March 11, 2018 05:21 AM PDT
We do little when we give of our possessions. It is when we give of ourselves that we truly give.
While we may try to amass all of the possessions we can, in the end it means nothing. Service to others is where fulfillment lies.
Regardless of your faith tradition, we speak to the higher self in each of us. Take what serves you from these messages for inspiration and encouragement. We can all use a bit of that.
